So, how are they different from other nonstick cookware? One of the differences between Blue Diamond vs copper pans such as Red Copper and Copper Chef is the former has a ceramic nonstick coating that is diamond-infused while the latter has copper infusion in their construction. The Blue Diamond is marketed as being harder, longer-lasting and having better heat transfer with the diamond element. The coating is claimed to be 5 times harder so that it won’t get scratched with metal utensils and last 10 times longer compared to traditional nonstick coating. It is not so much about the marketing claims that get to us because we have come to expect that nonstick cookware must be treated with care. It is the hot handles that attract so many complaints that make us feel uncomfortable with it. We are not saying that it is a lousy cookware but neither is it anything special. So, if Blue Diamond is just like any other nonstick cookware, there is little reason to take the risk with a hot handle when there are plenty of other ceramic-coated cookware out there for you to choose from.
We bought this pan because of the nonstick feature. The first egg I cooked stuck so I used a little more oil in the pan on the second egg. It stuck, also. How they get the egg to slide out in the commercials is a mystery to me. I would not recommend Blue Diamond pans.
How you got eggs to stick is beyond me. I have cooked eggs many times and none even came close to sticking. I even like to put parmesan cheese on my eggs and when I flip them they still slide around very easily. Came here to find other pans and just happened to see this comment. Follow directions and they work very well

Evidently, I didn’t read the caveat that states; Product is non-stick only when no heat is applied. It’s the sorriest cookware I’ve owned. The only time it’s non-stick is when used as a target at the gun range!!!
It lasted about two months. The coating showed scratches and food stuck to the pan despite use of plastic utensils. What a waste of money! My advice is, “Don’t buy it!” Buyer Beware.
I received a damaged product I asked to be exchange , never got a respond and yes I sent photos. I would not recommend anyone to buy from this company.
Very disappointed with our Blue Diamond Skillet. Within a month it has a small chip in it. Our bacon also sticks to it and leaves a hard crust that we have to scrape out. Will nevery buy another one again.
Very disappointed! Mine worked great for a few times then one spot started sticking. I was about the size of two quarters and almost everything stuck to that one spot.

I have bought 2 Blue Diamond fry pans, the 12 inch and 10 inch. Both work wonderfully for me. I haven’t used in oil it, and eggs slide out like a slippery eel. I don’t cook much on high heat and have not subjected these pans to extreme heat. For what I use them for they are great.
I have the 12in frying pan worked great for about 2 months now everything sticks even have to put oil in skillet to fry sausage never before nothing like they say and only use Teflon egg tuner

I bought these pots and pans because they advertise no sticking. Without oil it sticks, when I add oil (tried Olive oil, peanut oil and corn oil) it all gathers into one corner and food still sticks. What am I doing wrong???
I absolutely LOVE my blue diamond pan!! I will definitely by more of the set. I have had ALOT of high end cookware & this has been the best thus far. & I do a lot if cooking!! From family functions to some catering. I learnt early with this product less oil to no oil works best. It’s clean up is super easy too.
I was super excited to get these pots and pans, I was looking forward to being able to use metal utensils and not having to worry about scratching the pans. I didn’t even have these a month and the big pot already has scratch marks and is starting to chip. I am so super disappointed and wish for once a product would actually works like it is advertised. These would be wonderful if they did not scratch/chip. Will not buy again and would not recommend buying.
I received a pan for a Gift about 6 months ago. It was a fair non stck pan for about 2 months
now you can not cook anything in it without it sticking. Dont waste your time and m ok ney on this product.

Recently purchased a set of blue diamond cookware. We have 3 parakeets, & non stick cookware can be fatal to them. The company as well as our vet assured us they were safe. Lightweight, and attractive. Pans are chipping after a brief period of using them. Just seeing this complaint in other reviews. Wish we didn’t discard box and receipt or we would return. Now question the safety of this product!!
We LOVE our Blue Diamond skillet my man does all the cooking and he is rough on even cast iron. The handle can be covered with a little sleeve you can get in most stores. Easy clean-up and very even cooking. Oh, by the way the first cook we did was oven fried chicken that may have tempered it a bit !

now, if you do NOT know how to cook properly (let pan get heated before add oil / fat then add food, cover to make sure gets quickly to around same temp as pan ish
I have cooked I not know how many things, on medium high heat, high heat (frying rice – vegetables, searing meat, even in the oven to 350..besides some low level wear (should have stuck around medium high heat maximum)
all this being said…steel handle…not touch with bare hand unless you KNOW is cool, things stick means likely the user was NOT using as should have maybe was thinking would be as good as 100 year old seasoned cast iron (not even fresh paint sticks to that LOL….

My black diamond frying pan performed just okay with oil or butter but has gotten increasingly worse over time. I take very good care of it, but it doesn’t seem to matter. The only non-stick frying pan that I have had for years is the original teflon Tfal pan. I’m going to try and find another one of those. As long as you don’t overheat or heat empty pan they are safe to use.
The Blue Diamond pan I bought failed miserably. after 2 months everything began to stick. Eggs ever will plenty of oil still stick and have to be pried off the bottom. Red Copper lasted a lot longer.
Horrible, awful, junk. It should be promoted as the most stickable pan ever invented. Even with adding butter, oil, or non stick cooking spray this pan overcomes all attempts to fry an egg without it sticking like glue. I want my money back! Liars.
